It’s so strange how I assume all kids are clued up & know all the innuendos of the day, yet I was proved wrong today. It’s science week & we are learning about the skeleton. A boy in my class had finished his work before everyone so I gave him a book to research the structure of bones & he presented it to the class: “Bones have two heads & this long bit is the shaft.” There was a male teacher in the class at the time who is in his late 30s/early 40s and I swear I had to actually turn myself away & just cringed so much! 

Anyways, my class teacher is being used to cover McCrone hours for other classes so I unexpectedly had the class all day today & have them again tomorrow. I’m glad that I’m actually get the chance to take them & without her observing me too but I was totally unprepared today. So I have a tonne of planning to do tonight & will definitely not be up until 2AM this time.

I spent an hour on Skype to Hayley in Finland, we both basically just moaned about how crap things are at the moment haha. She’s been away less than a week & I already miss her again! At least this time she isn’t away for as long as the last stretch before Christmas.

Seriously wish there was a remote control for life so I could skip past this whole placement - obviously not skipping past any nights out or Valentine’s Day!
